New Orleans City Park's Wedding on Stone Bridge

A young couple came from Canada to be married on August 3, 2005 on a bridge in New Orleans City Park. Everything about the wedding was traditional New Orleans including the gondola ride, the wedding dinner at Antoine's in the Vieux Carre and the carriage ride through the French Quarter.
I had the privilege of meeting the couple three days before the wedding in City Park where they were looking for the stone bridge. The ceremony was held at 6:30 p.m. in the setting sun. It was 93 degrees with high humidity.

I am planning my wedding in NOLA next month and would love to have the ceremony on this bridge - is this the one close to the peristyle? Thank you!

As a working photographer (redwagonpub.com) I appreciate the work you did. I have had the privilege of photographing weddings in New Orleans at La Pavilion and other places. One of my daughters moved from New Orleans to Boston just 5 days B4 Katrina hit. Considering the devastation I know this is insignificant, but can you tell me whether jazz great Louis Prima's crypt is intact?

One of the photographers that shot Matthew and Jennifer's wedding just did one using the bridge and the book looks great. This is a beautiful place to shot weddings.
