Canon 5D with examples of various lenses

Sold my 20D and upgraded to the full frame Canon 5D. First impressions are that this is a great full frame camera. Makes my 17-40 nice and wide but with an amount of vignetting. Much faster focusing especially with my Canon 300 f/4L IS. Images need no post processing sharpening. The viewfinder is very large and bright. A big plus is the 1/3 stop increments of ISO - i.e 100, 125, 160, 200,250, 320, 400, 500, 640, 800, 1000,1250, 1600.

As always, very fine work. I read your review on Fred's site and your gallery here has sold me on the 5D. Time to finally upgrade my 10D.

Very nice Sheila. Beautiful colors and contast with excellent compositon. I'm ordering my 5D and 24-105 later this month. Again, very nice. Gets my vote

Wauv! Really jealous of your 5D and some super shots as usual. Can't wait to see what you will do with the 5D!
How do you find FF so far, guess it's really nice at the wide end (ie the 17-40mm lens is now actually wide) but how about loosing the 1,6 factor with tele lenses?
