I guess we won't have to feed this kookaburra (or its family) today as he just found his lunch under a camellia tree in our garden. It would appear to be a young but poisonous black snake. My husband, while mowing our lawn, saw the kooka swoop down in front of him and took his lunch to a nearby power pole.
