Hi Shelly, I've just seen the photos you captured of the parents during the removal of the chick from the nest. Knowing what we were viewing on cam at the time makes the photos even more poignant. The upside to this is knowing the chick is in an excellent wildlife treatment facility....and soon the adults will return to doing what they do best...being eagles (it may take us human types a bit longer to recover)Thank you for sharing :-)

I ran into this gallery by chance and I am glad I did. A pair of bald eagles have just arrived in our neck of the woods in Maryland, and I am trying to keep an eye on them. Your pictures have inspired me to look for opportunities to improve the quality of the pictures that I have been taking. Your pictures are very good!

Awesome shots of mating eagles! I see and photograph a LOT of eagles here in S.E. Alaska, but it was not until this spring that I was able to finally witness a pair mating and then from too far away to get anywhere as good of photos as these. Great "work"!
