Lovely pix, you've got a real talent. I'm an English expat living in Guadalajara, and recognise quite a few of the places... Thanks for sharing.

Might need to get a better spam filter for the guest book, mind :D

Hi Steven, great shots of beautiful places. Hope to be visiting in Oct./Nov. Hope to move there within the year. Thanks for the beautiful things to dream of until I can see them for myself.

Thoroughly and regular enjoy your photos. We spent a good deal of time there in the late 90's - there's no place like it - had a home in Lomas del Lago. Your site is on my favorite places. Please don't stop doing what you do.

Hello Steven, very nicely done. We've been to Ajijic three times now and plan to go again next year in Jan. This time we plan to drive. I've also posted some photos on my site if you are interested: pbase.com/cjfn just click on the Mexico gallery and then the Ajijic area gallery. Keep up the good work.

What a perfectly delightful and incredible collection! Thank you for creating this splendid photo journal of Mexico. There is only one important omission...Casamalcolm B&B at #15 Donato Guerra in Ajijic. The doorway and garden are visual treats!

mY BOYFRIEND AND I traveled to La Ticla may12thru the 19 and with good luck a big south swell hit there. A little scary for me but I plan to go back someday and surf the spot. lots of fun and nice weather and warm water. size was head high to double overhead and strong current which swept me into the cove I made the mistake to think that the cove was surfable that day but was walled and pitching.

this was one of my most enjoyable times on the internet - viewing your photos of Ajijic and Lake Chapala, a place I long to retire to myself. Thank you so much for putting up these photos to share with everyone...especially those of us not lucky enough to be there in person. I've already forwarded this site to two friends who I know will appreciate it. Thank you again.

Hello Steven,
I hope you are doing well. It was a delight to go through your gallery. The composition and color of your photographs is very pleasant to the eye. I grew up in Guadalajara and I'm currently living in Seattle, but planning on moving back in September. If you don't mind, I will let others know about your beautiful work... Thanks for showing the beauty you can find throughout the country :-) You are giving others the opportunity to see what is beyond the south border, allowing them to appreciate what makes the country (and Latin-America in general) such a rich and beautiful place to live or visit.
Once again, thanks!

Best,

Fernando León.

Hello Steve, I produce an employee magazine for a large US corporation, and in searching for images for the article's graphic design, I stumbled onto your Web site. My question is, would you willing to grant or sell the rights to one or more of your photos for one-time publication in my magazine?

Please contact me as soon as possible at wordforager@yahoo.com, and I'll provide you with more details. I'll attempt to contact you through any other channels I can find, as I'm on a rather tight deadline at the moment, so if you happen read this on or near march 23rd, please contact me as soon as you can.

Thanks for your consideration.

Loved your gallery of Pictures from Ajijic and the Lake area. I lived there for 8 months back in 2001>>>So, it was great to see the Pics. What memories............
Question: Do you sell any of your photographs? I saw a few that I would love to have framed around the house here in Austin Texas.

Steve:
I wondered if you were a Peace Corp Volunteer in Colombia, SA during the early 1970's. If you were, please write back. If not, I enjoyed your posted photo's.
Thanks, Tom Welter

Steve, I was just "surfing" around and came across your Guanajuato pics....very nice! I've got a similar collection of my own which I took while my wife and I visited the city for Cervantino 2005. Neat event if you haven't taken it in. We lived in Mexico City from 1985-1989, and Guanajuato was one of our favorite weekend destinations.

Steve,
My husband and I saw an article in the "Sun City Living" (Arizona) paper. If your pictures are any indication of the beauty of the area, and the climate is really what they say, I think this would be a great place retire. Thanks, for sharing.
Colleen Cote 29-Aug-2005 23:19
Great pictures of Guanajuato. I have an English language bookstore, Donkey Jote in Plaza San Fernando, #22. I would like to link from my site when it I get that page up. I would appreciate an email about a reciprocal link. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi Steve,
I stumbled across you site, while doing a search for La Ticla. Nine of us went surfing in La Ticla for a week, which ended up being the most amazing, unforgettable trip ever. We took some of the same exact pictures that you did. Your pictures are amazing! Thank you for sharing.

Hi Steven, your Dad sent me the link to your site and photos. I just have one comment on your photographic skills and that is excellent, truley professional. The Mexican government should hire you as their official photographer.
Jason 09-May-2005 20:51
I Steve. My father, Ted Sandford, sent me your name and link. You've got some great stuff here. I work for the daily newspaper in Asheville, NC, and have my own blog on the side, where I've been posting some of my dad's snaps. I'm going to add another post and link to your site.
Thanks.

Steve,
You may remember me as a friend of your dad's. I used to live in Bullhead City but am now in Sherman, Texas.
My inquiry is about some of the housing that you've lived in. I really enjoy the pictures of the property and the views. Do you have those anywhere so that I could view them on line? I wanted to show the areas to my sister-in-law. They're outlook on Mexico is warped. They think the whole country is like the boarder towns.
As I've told your dad in the past, I live vicariously in Mexico through your pictures. Thanks for the effort you put into your travels. I'm envious.
Bob

Just a note to say hi. Guess you are no longer here in Ajijic. We miss you but know that you will be back for a visit. Hope you remember me and my son Kelly. I am very impressed with the great photos on your site, and have forwarded some to friends in the US. Best wishes to you and much luck on your endeavors. Your friend, Sheila

Steve,

Great job on the pics. Was wondering if you could email me back and elaborate a bit more about Racquet Club. Do you have any pics of that area? Which direction you think Racquet Club is heading? Any "open" land around or is the place pretty boxed in with development? Your impressions of the town there (as compared to Ajijic). Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Joseph
