Message from Shura Kharkovsky
Welcome to my Digital Photo corner of the PBase universe!
I am an amateur photographer from Israel with roots from Ukraine (Kharkov). Like many others,I purchased my first digital camera (Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel) for taking pictures of my first-born son in 2004. It took me more than two years to start my first steps in digital image editing world, and it took me another few months to share the photos in the Pbase.
I took many of my first photos, with my father's Russian camera - named Smena-8 http://cameras.alfredklomp.com/smena8m/ with no film inside it. (I was about 8 years old). My first film was developed and printed in my best friend's darkroom, when I was about 12 years old.
The next cameras were also Russian production: FED-8v , Zenit-ET. The Nikon 6006 was my last non-digital camera.
