Want to ask questions about comparing Sigma cameras, example Sigma DP2 Quattro 30mm to a newer Sigma SD mirrorless. I've viewed the Galleries with pictures taken by these two cameras and I'd like to ask about the different sharpness observed between the two 30mm lens camera. But I can't after 30 minutes of trying to directly ask a question on this site to the photographers who used those cameras, very frustrating. Can anybody help?

Hi, this is a bit of a wild shot in the dark but, a few years ago there was a close up, detailed photo of a brown boot with red laces in a users' gallery - does anyone who's took the photo. I would love to see it again. Many thanks, Jon, Brighton UK.

Could the person who took the photo of the Kivioja pottery studio contact me, please? I am a Stenback whose relatives came from that area and originally had the name of Kivioja. I would like to contact Aune Kivioja, or you could have her contact me. Thank you so much! (Or if anyone else knows anything.)

I'm a new SD-9 owner! And yes, before you ask, I *am* very proud. I hope to have a new voice with which to say the things I want to, photographically / artistically speaking.

See ya in the forums. (fora? forii?)

I am truly impressed by the quality of your results... and the detail most of all. When is this technology going tobe reasily available or is it now?

I am impressed by the SDs quality, but not sure how good it can be. I have seen poster-size demo print out made by local Sigma office. Compare to other brands, most are talking about A4 or the most A3 (at 300 ppi) only. However, I am not sure if the demo really demonstrate what a user can achieve, as manufacturers have a lot of ways to do special things.

I would love to hear from the actual users how good is the SD10, in terms of actual print out size(to poster size, or larger)? My logic is: the bigger the size, the better the good quality. Appreicate your feedback & guidance!!

When I grow up, I'd like to be able to take good pictures like you do.

In my free time I'm surfing the net to find the ultimate digital camera. I tend to gravitate towards the Foveon chip, as I would like to be able to put all chances on my side before I dive into digital photography. But before I toss my Nikons into silver halid oblivion, I fell I need to be convinced. I have absolutely no confidence in the CCD chip as far a quality is concerned. If some one could direct me toward Foveon (Sigma)oriented sites with good samples I'd much appreciate it.
Thanks in advance,
Steve
P.S.: I wouldn't mind hearing from hands-on users' pros and cons.

Does anybody have any images from the SD9 of fine drawings\maps or diagrams?

I am looking at one for recording this type of work and I understand that this is a area that the SD9 work well with.
