Though meals were catered under contract with Cycle Oregon, they were served by volunteers from the local communities. It wasn't unusual to also see locals selling t-shirts and other mementos of the particular community. At Dorena Lake, it was a blackberry pie that caught the attention of one Team Rubber Chicken member.
