Hello Seng!
Your pictures delight my heart! You have a glance of a painter, so sensitive to the "sweet" and to the "strong", to the honey and to the rock! Your feeling with the colours is very warm and right. I like your excellent work too.Are you painting also?
Thank you for your beautiful opening to the beauty...
Sincerely yours,
Georges Noblet

Seng - Great photos. Enjoyed looking through your images. I have been to Valley of the Fire several times. The first time in the month of July and with the temp 112-115 degrees. I think myself and two other cars were in the park at this time. Again, Great Images - john

Hello from Spain Send
Great eye, I find it interesting that you selected, from what I can see the 50 mm prime (85mm on SD10) asyour main lens. A few years a go I saw an exhibition of a French artist who only used his Nikon 50mm with 35mm TRI X very interesting.

Your work is great in all the technical and artistic dimensions. I am very interested in trying the SD10; presently use a Fuji S2 and like it very much. But just like when I was shooting film I used Fuji Velvia and some times Agfachrome. I like the SD 10 details and colour rendition (with the exceptions of the sky).

If it is OK with you I would like to discuss this in greater detail if you can take the time. Please send me an email at mirodali_es@wanadoo.es if you can take the time.

Regards
Emile Michel

Thank you Seng for your comments- I have posted quite a few more photos in the meantime. I must say I really enjoyed your photographic perspective on your magical homeland. I feel privileged to have spent a month there and will return to hopefully find it hasn't been spoiled by Western corporatization like so many other Eastern lands.
Regards
Tom

These are amazing photos, Seng, some of the best I've ever seen on Pbase. I wish my photos of SE Asia were half as good as these. Thank you for sharing them with us.

Dear Sir, your images leave me shaking my head in awe. I'm especially captivated by "Rte. 13 between Kasi and VangVieng, Laos"

Has National Geographic been knocking on your door?

Seng,
Thanks for your kind comments on my galleries. It is especially thrilling to me because I admire your own work so much starting when I came across your Laos gallery. I hope you keep traveling and posting pictures and send me a note if you come out to Arizona and we can go out together for some photo shoots.

Seng,
Thankyou for your kind comments. I am humbled when I see the breathtaking quality of your own photos- I have rarely seen such consistently good work from the new breed of DSLR users. Your Laos gallery in particular was inspirational- I had been planning to head out to Thailand/Cambodia when the climate becomes bearable.
Cheers,
Steven

Wow.... Interesting photos, It's like I was there with you myself. And the photo of "Place of an old friend" refreshes my old time memory, I used to play hide and seek in the backyard.
Are you friend of Patthana or her sister ? Keep up with good job there.
Lewis 04-Mar-2003 17:35
Thanks for sharing your pix of Laos. Until now I thought only parts of China (Guilin) Thailand (Krabi) and Vietnam had such strangly wonderful geographic features, Loas is second to none! BTW, I love how the dynamic range of the Foveon sensor captures shadow detail.

Regards,
Lewis

You've done a great job of capturing our Motherland. The scenery of the many mountians, lakes, rivers, wat, and monks are amazing. Thank you for sharing. Keep up the awsome job!

What an eye you have! Such poetry behind the camera. I'm particularly fascinated with the digital pictures. I've not seen such majestics examples from a digital camera.
