We rented a cottage near Cloghane for two wonderful weeks. The ride to Tralee was about 30 minutes. Along the way, several times, we saw a single sheep standing on a stone wall that ran alongside the road. Unfortunately, I never got a picture of this. The cottage we rented was the Scorid Cottage, which was yards away from the fast-flowing river of the same name. Once we learned how to properly burn peat, it was the most comfortable place on Earth.
