We were fortunate to have an opportunity to visit Cuba in October 2011 for a week. Cuba is a fascinating country, a mix of beauty with much poverty, wonderful peopl with very difficult living conditions, and a demonstration that socialism does not work. And fortunately there are significant signs that things are changing for the better, but most people in Cuba accept that the process with be long and difficult.
