Winter Wren - Troglodytes hiemalis

Groton, Ma.

A couple of winter wrens live in the wetland behind my house each fall and winter. As they make there way around the wetland, they come out right in front of where I sit with little care that I'm there.

Wrens are among my favourite birds... how fortunate to have a couple of these guys nearby, and not shy either! Superb shot. V
