I was wondering, I notice in Taiwan many photographers get
a really nice models to pose for them, I wish I was in Taiwan (^^u
Here in the UAE models either so expensive or hard to book..
Or maybe because I am a shy woman I can't ask them (T_T)

Hi, Tom:

Thanks for leaving a message in my guestbook. I am glad that you have found my nine gallery cyberbook on expressive travel photography to be of help. If you ask yourself what you want your picture to say or mean before you take it, you may take it in a different way. For example, I notice in your own galleries that you like to tilt your camera a lot. Why do you do this? What are you trying to say by tilting the camera? Many times, I feel that tilting for the sake of tilting can lead to disorientation. On the other hand, if you read my chapter on composition, you will see that I do suggest tilting the camera when no horizon is involved so that you can get diagonal, corner to corner, directional flow going -- and that can help tie your picture together and perhaps make it mean more to the viewer. In other words, don't tilt jut to tilt -- tilt to communicate! Good luck, Tom, and thanks again for leaving that nice comment.

Well, MTM..
I use 200~400mm lens to shot sports;therefore, it looks like the players are close to me.
Lots of baseball fields allow people to sit really close to players, and I just took advantages of that.

It seems I can't handle the chinese character input well. What I wanted to say was that I was also a beginner and am working to master photography. I am weak in portrait and sports photography while you at good at them, so there is a lot that I can learn from you. I browsed around your galleries and find your portraits work is fresh and sweet.
