Alster Tower was used,
by George and Louise Boldt, as a temporary summer residence
during construction of “the castle.” It, Alster Tower, was designed
to resemble a castle on the Rhine River in Germany, and had an
entertainment space with two bowling alleys on the lower level,
and the upper floors housed a library, café and the guest suites.
