Walt was not unfamiliar with this type of automobile. In an old photo I have, he is sitting behind the wheel of a car like this, watching a girl in the foreground. When I first saw that picture, I asked my mother, "Who is the girl?" In a huff, she responded only, "That's not me!" I'm surprised she kept the photo, but I'm glad she did!
