13 July 2006 Departure: 1515hrs KHI Arrival: 1645hrs LHE Several non-cockpit shots also added now :) I think airlines in America don't allow any passengers into their cockpits (after 9/11... even Etihad Airways Captains didn't allow me into the cockpit, I tried on four different sectors :P) but PIA Captains usually allow you into their cockpits if you request them and they have a spare seat for a while, or even for landing/takeoff. I've been to the cockpit many times, coz my father was Cabin Crew in PIA :) But this was my first time in a 747's cockpit with a camera.

i really like ur piz they r very beautiful nd cool.
this webside is very guud all the piz that i hv seen they r very good.
i m liveing in Canada alomost 8 years ago but i still miss pakistan i will never fotget
the time that i spend with my school friends i wish if i go back to pakistan i m witing
for that day but i don,t when its gonna come.i m so happy to see all these piz anywiz

What fantastic photos. Absoluting a fascinating peek into a Jumbo. I've only traveled once in such a beast but never remembered since I was so young the kind of perspective you bring in the pictures. Well done! And more please!

These are amazing. When I was 14, my stepfather worked for an airlines,
so when we landed at Yokohama, the pilots allowed my brother and me into
the cockpit to see the landing (amazing, as we were not belted!, but this was
back in 1953).
TODAY, in America, after 9-11, yes, you'd probably be looked on
with less than ecstasy if asking to sit in the cockpit :-)

Thanks for these. You're quite a traveler! I will look around some
more.
