Today I got a picture of Brandy, I was hoping for a really good reflection, but this one still came out. We went hiking along with Bill and Wanda up to some hot pots today. I need to go back in a week or so since the colors are already coming.

Wes, it's the sunlight illuminating the river bed that messed up the reflection, it's like having a light on behind glass. If you're looking into a room that's dark the glass reflects but if there's light on you see through the glass to whatever is lit up.
That said, I can see what you were trying to achieve and I'd say you were pretty close.

Nice shot, unfortunately the water is that clear and the stones and ground in it covered the refelction or mixed with it. It will be quite hard to get a real clear reflection of Brandy there. But, it will be worth a displacement and a new trial to my opinion.
