At a local conservation area I'd gone down to the river's edge to check for straggler migrants when I spotted this buoy.




The text reads:
Department of National Defense
Firing Range
Range Boundary
Keep Out

The buoy must have drifted down the river from the nearby DND Firing Range. Yes, as we get 'shots' of wildlife we can often hear arms fire in the background.
