Recently, a car this colour, roughly this shape, passed me on the A3 going toward London. Closely followed by a black saloon car. I would estimate their speed about 175 mph. By the time my passenger picked up the camera on her lap and pointed it, they were out of sight. Definitely the fastest I have ever seen a car travel on a public road.
