Brian,
Once again you did a great job that takes more guts to be accomplished. Congratulations!!! You made it really easier to explain the beauty of Africa and as some said to break all these stereotypes about Africa. I particularly like the way you present my country Niger with its good and less good parts. You inspire me very much and after seeing these wonderful pictures, I am now considering to plan a trip in some other beautiful places of the world and bring back nice pictures too. Thank you very much.

We just came back from Kruger and Etosha. We were there for four weeks and the stay was better than I expected. The wildlife was fantastic!! Now I am planning Kenya for two to three weeks. Thanks to you!! Would love to find a partner for Kenya camping.

Brian,

After the discovery of your page, I looked at your galleries for a long time, and then I showed your page to my wife. We spent about three hours on Sunday night looking at your images and analyzing your trips. After we were done, I could not fall asleep. You see, I dream of adventures all the time, and Africa is something that completely took me by force. You must know that I have done my share of travel visiting about 50 different counties of the world, but there are still places you saw and which I have not touched yet.
And the Africa of safaris is that part of the world I have never visited

Brian, my wife and I noticed a few things about your photographic coverage. Firstly, you are very thorough. I feel that looking at your images is much better than reading articles. You show so much that it can be used a field guide to so many different places. You have a wonderful talent of capturing your adventures.

Secondly, your pictures and what you saw put into shame the official safari specialists who charge 8,000 dollars or more per person for photographic trips. You alone saw as much as they did without relying on expert guides and drivers. It shows again that one person who has the guts and imagination can accomplish a lot. After seeing what you have done, I can argue that safari tours are only blood sucking institutions trying to remove as much cash as possible from hands of the weak and used-to-being-pampered westerners. I know it is not easy to travel in Kenya independently, but you did it with great results. Until now I was considering a safari tour, but now, thanks to you, the idea is dead.

Lastly, you changed my mind on some of my trips. I will take a few and give up others that I planned before. If I could only hear you talk about your trips! As I am sure I would learn a lot. Most of the time I teach others (I also travel independently), but this time you would be my master.

Brian, thank you again for sharing your adventures with me. Now I am building a trip plan based on your experience.

Really interesting stuff you have on ghana. I like the way you diversed it, showing both sides of the coin, which send a perfect message of ghana. I miss it back there, but sure does feel good to see pics from back home, and from the look of things you enjoyed it.
