Marabou storks are to my eye rather ugly bald-headed birds with skinny legs and out of proportioned heads. But obviously they keep themselves clean,well-groomed and free of parasites as best they can. I witnessed one such busy marabou doing just that - contorting into the strangest positions to get at the places most difficult to reach to maintain their apperance.
