Earle J. Carpenter III, 66, passed away on March 23, 2012 following a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earle J. Carpenter, Jr. and Mae Browning Carpenter Lawrence. He is survived by one sister, Ellen Kay Carpenter of Tucker, GA and a longtime friend, Agnes “Aggie” Fenner. Mr. Carpenter was a graduate of Memphis State University where he received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree and a Master’s of Education Degree. He taught Driver Education in the City of Memphis School system for 38 years and was a Deputy Chief Truant Officer for the Juvenile Court System. Services for Mr. Carpenter will be held at St. Louis Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 27, with visitation 30 minutes prior. Graveside Services will follow later in the week in Atlanta, GA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Monsignor Paul W.
