The Wall

Fort Huachuca, Arizona

A section of the Berlin Wall. It is in the Museum of Military Intelligence at Fort Huachuca. It was my first visit to the fort, even though it is only an hour and a half away. For anyone visiting the Tucson area, I highly recommend it.

Paul - this is a great museum on the base. You would love it. I have to go back, as I didn't have time to read all of the material that was there on display.

Jim it’s been long known that one can’t use the word military and intelligence in the same sentence.
What a piece of history this is, I had no idea pieces of it were in the US. Can you imagine the natural reaction of East German soldiers guarding the wall where before November 9th 1989 they shot on sight without hesitation anyone attempting to cross it and then now they helped them tear it down to crossover. I’m still amazed.
