AC Cars were a British company based in Thames Ditton, Surrey, and were best known for their sports cars. However, between 1947 and 1958 they built this saloon with limited success. In fact, according to Wikipedia, only 1,284 were built so this must be quite a rare specimen.
The company still exists, albeit in Malta.
