Great shots! Seeing the pictures of the Northern Harrier on that Widgeon makes me wonder if most of the viewers here know that you spend Sunday mornings beating the c**p out of birds until their little feathers are shattered and then you kick them aside and leave them lying around for someone else to pick up?

Well, before I get you notoriety and cause much anxiety at the Audubon Society with your games (apologies to Tom Lehrer), I guess it would only be fair to clarify that most of this activity occurs while playing badminton...

This is a collection which you keep coming back to, for the sheer pleasure of seeing the images, also to re-live the pleasures of birding in the West. For me, it's a source of inspiration and ideas to take better photos next time...
