R59-15A-Dana_Tri X1986.JPG

R59 refers to my Rodinol-developed rolls of Tri-X Pan 35mm film, which I used to buy in 100 foot bulk rolls. I shot this with a 35mm f/2 O.C. Nikkor lens which I had AI-converted by a local camera store. In my opinion, this 35mm lens gives an image characteristic that is very pleasing. In fact, as a "pictorial lens", the 35mm O.C. Nikkor is without peer, yielding a distinctly different image than newer, better-corrected 35mm length Nikkors. It is one of my personal all-time favorite lenses.
