1970's - a postcard featuring a Bell 47 helicopter operated by Miami Helicopter Service owned by the Riggs families

Miami Beach, Florida

I lived three houses away from the Bill Riggs family from 1976 to 1980 in Miami Lakes and they are still friends after I moved to the next lake north of where they live. Miami Helicopter Service operated a Bell 47 during the summer tourist seasons in Gatlinburg, Tennessee in addition to operating a couple of Bell 47's and a Jet Ranger out of Opa-locka Airport. That is the world-famous Fontainebleau Hotel under the helicopter.
