Ray Snyder's 1931 Ford Rod featured in "Prep's Rod of the Month"
Miami, Florida
According to George W. Young, Ray spent a lot of time and money on this project. $1800 would not go far today. Ray started a trend by putting GM engines into Fords.
Ray Snyder's brother Ronnie was the president of the club I was in, "The Road Rebels" for a while.
I would be on the starting line, first with the flags, than with the Christmas tree.
I was in the Road Rebels from 158 to 19 69, they were great years....

Raymond was the pioneer, neighborhood, hands-on hot rod builder.
He painted my first car, a '47 Chevy coupe. Did a good job too (at least by 1956 standards).
I see the Road Rebel Club trailer in the background.
