Week #1 - Lowland Leopard Frogs
by Rosemary Woods

Taken during my Kelby photowalk. I thought these guys were so cute. Wish I had taken more photos of them. This was shot through glass as they were in a large aquarium with water and plants just like it would be for them out in the desert.

Canon EOS 70D
1/250s f/6.3 at 236.0mm iso250, Tamron 28-300mm 3.5-6.3 full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto

They are adorable! I like that the two in front are sharp and the other one is softer. Hard to believe you shot through glass - I could not tell. Their coloring is interesting, with the stripe going from their eye to their belly and the brown legs.

Very nicely shot, Rosemary. I think your DOF works here with the back frog fading into the background. The two front ones are very sharp. This is wonderful for being behind glass. If you only had to go to ISO 250, you had plenty of light for hand holding.

Super shot, Rosemary. It looks like someone meticulously painted their leopard spots on them. :) I like how your angle includes all three, and also both a side and front view of them. Very nice DOF too.

Superb, they posted nicely and despite having to shoot through the glass, the photo is perfectly clear.Nice detail from these cuties. V
