Hurricane Matthew has come and gone, leaving only minor destruction around our home and neighborhood.
I went out for a walk the day after he passed and this area caught my eye.

The water in the lake is up quite a bit from normal.
But what struck me was how "normal" this picture looks after all of the pictures of destruction from the hurricane.
Yes, we were spared, and I am very thankful.
Now we need to get on with rebuilding what was lost.
