"What a view..."
by Gary Robertshaw

This view of Yosemite Valley is often the first stop for visitors entering Yosemite from the south, and a pretty spectacular way to start a visit.
They're usually busy snapping photos of each other, but I spotted this group just taking in the view...even on an overcast day it was captivating.
El Capitan on the left, and Half Dome and Cloud's Rest in the distant center, with Cathedral rocks and Bridalveil Fall on the right.

Yes a good composition..it gives a clearer understanding of the size of the mountains without sacrificing too much of the view to do so. I feel like I'm almost there!

Wonderful moment well captured. The people in order profoundly contrast with the mountains! Very fun to view.
