The 'Flaming Star Nebula' ( IC405) in Auriga

AE Auriga is embedded in the top of a flame-like shaped nebula. The blueish color of a reflexion nebula and the red of a hydrogen cloud intermingles to different shades of purple around the star.
The image is a mosaic of two panels.
