NGC2264 - 'Cone Nebula' in Monoceros

This is a close-up shot of the left part of the previous image. To the right is the 'Cone Nebula', pointing towards the beautiful blue reflection nebula around 15 Mon, the bright star in the middle of the image. This star is also the base for the 'Christmas Tree Cluster', which points to the right side of the image.
The short streak in the middle of the top of the lower third results from the movement of 4676 Uedaseiji ( an asteroid discovered in 1990) in the time frame of about 3.5 hours.
