Chak Chak Falls

First discovered by Tom Kloster in 1981, Chak Chak Falls tumbles 100+ feet in a remote corner of the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness in the Mount Hood National Forest. The name "Chak Chak" is Chinook jargon for "bald eagle", after the bald eagle population which lives in this valley. You may also be interested in watching my video of the waterfall and Tom's comprehensive video of our trek.
