Yellow Rose In a Japanese Pagoda Tree Trunk

Washington Square Park - NYC

March 4, 2003, I happened to be walking by a Japanese Pagoda Tree near the Washington Square Arch and saw this yellow rose placed in a crevice of the trunk. Since then it has always been one of my favorite photos.
