#28 View of another township built on a beach

July 2013 Challenge - Where I Live - North Shore of Auckland

Orewa Town is just north of the North Shore and 40 kilometres north of central Auckland.
It is built on an estuary and is only 25 metres from Orewa beach, which is one of the longest beaches in Auckland.
Orewa is also considered one of the fastest growing places in New Zealand
and is quite an expensive area in which to buy a house
