This Photo was taken in almost total darkness (very dark night on the back deck at a friends home, with no stars visible, and no outside lights in view). I could not see anything in the Camera's LCD (totally dark), and had an extremely difficult time even finding the dog with the Viewfinder.

To my surprise, the Konica took the photo almost instantly, with virtually no noticeable shutter lag (the responsiveness of the camera is pleasantly suprising, especially given the lighting -- or should I say the lack thereof. Hopefully, someone will measure the autofocus/shutter lag in a review soon. I suspect that this camera is much better than most. BTW, I did not use a half press of the shutter button to prefocus this shot
