Forest of Ghost Trees
Yesterday we took the BC Ferry from Prince Rupert to Port Hardy located on the north end of Vancouver Island. Its a 15 hour voyage over the distance of 267 miles that goes through the Inside Passage. This is probably some of the most spectacular scenery on earth... when you can see it that is! Since we were shrouded in heavy, low clouds most of the way I decided to get some abstract shots of what could be seen, hence the forest of ghost trees.
We did encounter several hump back whales, orcas, Dahl's porpoises, seals, Bald Eagles, Sea Eagles and a whole host of various sea birds.
I guess for the scenery I'll just have to make the journey again later! :)
