Comet Bennett on the morning of April 5, 1970, near Eta Peg. Not sure of the lens and f-ratio but it
was probably taken with Kodak Ektachrome with a 50mm lens. This image is an average of two photos
that were 1 and 1.5 minutes long. For tracking I used an Alt-Azmuth mount tilted to my approximate
latitude and used the slow motion control for the tracking. I heavily stretched the image to bring
out the comet details at the expense of bring up the background noise. Taken from my backyard in
Mt. Clemens Michigan.
