Tourists go to Dubbo to visit the Western Plains Zoo; we had been there, many years ago.
The additional attraction this time was the "Mother Africa" show, itself worth the 340-Km trip.
We went to the zoo too, of course, and to a lovely Japanese garden and a quiet stretch of river.
Finally a guided tour of "Dundullimal", a slab-built farm home surviving from the 1840s.
Note for EV users: Richmond to Dubbo (340 Km) is within range of an 80% charge on the Polestar, but we made two
short coffee stops (Bathurst and Orange) on the way out and one (Mudgee) on the way back. Free charging is
available at these three places. And the Matilda Motel in Dubbo had a free charger just outside our room (#201).
