That is the way I shot it. I was working hard and fast in the snow with a towel covering the big lens. I would like to say I planned it exactly, but that is not the case. I planned it pretty much. I rarely crop my images, trying to get it right in the viewfinder.
Hi THere... I shoot mostly animals (and mostly dogs) so I was thrilled when I just found your gallery. You have some great shots here. I particularly like this one. I don't know if you cropped it this way or whether this is just how you shot it, but it's a wonderful image. - liza
