Shelter

Big Bend Ranch S.P. Texas

We accidentally found this place while 4-wheeling near Tapado Canyon, 30 years ago.
It isn't on any State Park maps, but that isn't surprising.
There are many sensitive sites - geologic and anthropologic in Big Bend Ranch which are held in secret for preservation reasons.
Back then, there was a large goat pen between the little house and the rock wall, but it has finally collapsed.

It’s always interesting to find ruins in the desert. It is mysterious. V

at least it offers shade here, with not much on offer in the weather-moulded terrain..

Very nice shot. Really like the look of the rock formations behind the shelter. Reminds me of a Dali painting. "V"
