Death of a D30

This was the result of a 90 foot
disaster in Arches National Park.

High winds were concentrated where several
large boulders converged...and while turning
to catch my balance, my camera caught it's death.
Fortunately, it wasn't MY death.
I still have a slow-motion memory
of my D30 "floating" down...and appearing to explode.
Interestingly, the main body housing was mostly intact,
but major internals were toast.

1/15s f/4.0 at 47.0mm iso100 with Flash full exif

other sizes: small medium original auto
