Makes me think of Ansel Adams.... and what it must have been like hiking through this swampy muddy mess with a HUGE load of HEAVY gear.... pounds and pounds! The swampy gooey mess would have been like quicksand with all that stuff. I have always wanted to go there-- and hike where he hiked and see what he saw-- thanks for going there for me, maybe I'll get there someday. Love this photo! Never saw it when I looked before.
