These pictures are candid shots taken on Toronto's streets. I really like street photography and tremendously enjoyed taking these pictures. I hope you will enjoy seeing them too. In the close-ups and street scenes I tried to capture expressions, moments, colors and atmosphere of busy city and its people.

You are god, man! Anoraks can´t cope with that. You are one of the very few that "DON´T K-A-R-A-O-K-E" because you´re above theirs dogmas. Ctr+Shift+U=copycat....... and not the magical formulae that will turn the bonehead newby into a classic photographer. Not sooner or later -never. Taking "holga" shots with a Leica....& it must be in b&w...."´cuz´so did my grandpa" is as stupid as it sounds. None of them used 50-70 years old gear triyng to be....special. They lived & shot with contemporary technology -film & cameras – the latest the they could afford at that time, working in that time´s milieu & streets etc. In fact you are doing that. You are using whot is right here & right now. So did EVERY photographer. It is not a failure having Non-colourblind cameras today- failure that must be corrected. Feel free to feel good & free, following your instinct which is good. The best prove is here in front of my eyes: your wonderful work.

I like mostly pictures of women shoted from back, I mean a carve of women from the back side. One of them in which girl has white skirt and we can see just an half of her figure is so grate. it"s nothing and everthing in one time.

Observing homo sapiens and their activities can be very intresting. I imagine that the primates in zoos must look forward each day and find it quite entertaining to observe the human traffic that pass by. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Alex. I think I will agree with you in some cases. The images were really taken with long zoom, but I think there is still a lot of air in them. I was mainly interested to capture people's expressions, and that's may be why I did not pay to much attention to have more intriguing lighting. I think I will try to involve it more in the future.

I think you have something with "Morning Sun" that is worth exploring. I find the rest of the images fall flat due to a combination of repetetive composition, overly tight cropping and bland lighting. It appears as though you have used a telephoto to pick out people from a distance in many of the cases, giving a sterile, unemotional feel to the shots. Try opening up the frame to let your subjects breathe and interact with their surroundings and take advantage of subtle changes in lighting to create different moods. I hope that helps. Cheers, Alex
