Aerial photo of a Wal-mart Distribution Center located near the Wilkes-Barre Scranton
International Airport at Avoca Pennsylvania, near the Pocono Mountains. The leaves on
the trees are now showing nice shades of orange, red, yellow and green in the heavily
plush Pennsylvania Landscape. Photo taken from 2000 feet above the ground (3200 feet
above sea level) from a Piper Cherokee Archer II (PA-28-181) single engine aircraft,
flying approximately 100 knots. Wind conditions were out of the north at about 11 miles
per hour (a little windy and turbulent). Clear blue skies. Temperature about 55°.
Certainly a joy to be up in the air doint aerial photography work on such a beautiful
fall day. How lucky can a guy get!
