In a hurry to get to Island 13, I was traveling up the Great River Road (Highway 181) in Dyer Co. I glimpsed a white bird but drove a half mile when I realized I thought I had seen some pink. I returned to find these two immature Roseate Spoonbills!!

The pool is located just south of the entrance to Moss Island Refuge.
