these are really nice i con't belive on these so most of the places of afghanistan is really nice the people don't count them that is why afghanistan is backbite these were really and really nice May Allah keep afghanistan safe from every thing .......

they were all amazing but i searched to find some photoes of herat which i found them here, simply beautiful...it made me feel home sick i want to go and see my home land as soon as i can...

hope you are doing okay with your family anywhere you are. Thanx for all your hard work and i know how difficult it is to go and take pictures of ancient cities where there is no human rights and there is no garantee of life but believe me i have worked in afghanistan for 5 years and i have found out that these peaople are very generous and kind, and i m really appriciate your work.

You have done a wonderful job, mate.

The photos of Herat city are the best. If you compair this city with the other places in Afghanistan, then you see that Herat is the ONLY CITY in the country.

I am very very sory for Isamil Khan, the former governor of Herat, who has done many thins for this province, but finaly Karzai sacked him.

You really, really shouldn't have gone here, it is one of the worst and most dangerous countries on the Planet, you are a German, travel Europe my friend. Europe is above the rest.

Thanks to you for providing them.......you've done a great job by taking these photos an dthen showing it to the outside world....however i would be more glad if you take more scenic photos next time....only if you are willing....

Definately nice photos. I was in Afghanistan between 2004 and summer 2005, and seeing these definately bring back memories.
