Yves, FANTASTIC PHOTOS!! I'm actually amazed at all of your galleries and how I've lived at a lot of those same places. I grew up in Ventura (right next to Santa Barbara). I lived in San Luis Obispo (right next to Morro Bay). I lived in Dana Point and Laguna Niguel (right next to Laguna Beach). And now I just moved to Kailua in Kona! Your profile says that you live in LA but from your photos of the Big Island it sure appears that you've spent a lot of time here. I've been here for just a couple of weeks and I'm really loving it so far. I visited 2 years ago and just had to move here. Maybe I'll see you out there in the field! :)

I did a search for "Hawaii". I live in Ohio but my favorite tree is the palm. To me the palm tree represents warmth. Your pictures were by far the best. They are what I imagine of a tropical paradise. Thank you so much for sharing.

Hi Yiannis, Thanks for looking at my pictures, I like your very much too! The lens is a great one, I use it often on my 1Ds when I don't want the weight of the L-lenses to lug around. It is stabilized, so you can hand shoot in many places, I think it is the ideal lens for street shooting (if you would use a big 70-200 mm L lens, people notice quickly!) There are many reviews on the web, for example check <hrefhttp://www.photographyreview.com/ Hope this was helpful!
