The last day was the shortest, a 45 mile ride up over the McKenzie Pass back into Sisters. But the first 30 of those miles were mostly uphill. The day started in a misty-light rain, but as we climbed up to the pass, skies became cloudless and blue. The grade of the road in this photo is somewhere around 6%, so the riders captured aren't going as fast as it might appear. Lacking a tri-pod, I propped the camera on a guard-rail to facilitate the slower shutter speed.
